Visually Stunning, but Slightly Lacking in Storytelling

The Scarlet Empress is a film that undoubtedly leaves a lasting impression with its visually stunning presentation. The costume and set design alone are breathtaking, transporting viewers to a lavish and opulent world. However, despite its excellent visuals , the film fell short in captivating me with its story as I found it dull and wasn’t to my interest, leaving me with mixed feelings and a rating of 2 out of 5 stars.
