The Favourite is an absolute gem of a film that I absolutely adored. The way the story unfolds is pure genius, keeping me hooked from start to finish. What I loved most was the casual and hilarious way the characters swore throughout the movie, adding a unique and amusing touch. It was refreshing to see a period drama with such a witty and modern sensibility. This film has quickly climbed the ranks and I genuinely believe it might be one of my all-time favourite movies. The performances were outstanding, the humour was on point, and Olivia Coleman was impeccable, as always.
