For the Newstead Abbey project, We created a captivating box that would transport viewers into the world of Alice in Wonderland. We did extensive research to capture the timeless tale and its iconic imagery to use in our group piece.
We curated mood boards, compiling visuals of design styles, and Alice in Wonderland Imagery . The process was one of creative liberation, as we had the freedom to craft a truly unique and captivating experience. The end result successfully encapsulated the essence of the chosen idea.
Reflecting upon the project, I take immense pride in the design's overall success and its ability to authentically convey the Alice in Wonderland theme. However, due to illness during the start of the project, much of my ideas weren't implemented into the piece as the group had to carry on without me. Additionally, I would explore further sketches to enhance the box's organisation, ensuring optimal audience engagement and immersion. The Alice in Wonderland-themed box, looked great in the Abbey and it was brilliant to go and see it on display!
Group design work for the final box idea.
