BBC THREE

The BBC Three project challenged us to research, design and create a set for a light entertainment show. I started by researching current light entertainment shows and ones from the 60s/70s as this was the style I wanted to go with. I created a few mood-boards including design styles I wanted to use, real light entertainment show sets and layouts of the sets. I then made my technical drawing for my set. After that I could create my colour model with my chosen design. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this project and the creative freedom I had to make the set. I think the design works very well and conveys the chosen decade authentically. I also love how the colour model turned out, I think it was my best up to this point in time. If I were to do the project again, I would improve the technical drawing as it was my first attempt on one of these it needs a few adjustments and tidying up. I would also play around with some more sketches for the design as I think the set could of been organised slightly better to accommodate the audience.
